Hi, I'm Jason Arnold,
.

UX leadership for complex systems with real consequences.

I work with people to understand their problems and design software that solves them.

I've been doing that for over twenty years, mostly in sectors where the problems are genuinely difficult and a bad solution has real consequences for real people.

Before I landed in UX I worked across pretty much every discipline in digital, including development, production, project management, account management. Someone once joked that I'd done everything in a digital agency except UI design, and then I did that too. I've worked both agency and client side as well, so I understand how projects actually work from both ends, not just the part I'm responsible for.

Project Fair Go

Teachers working with students with complex learning needs spend up to two hours preparing resources for every lesson they teach. The lesson plans existed. The resources to deliver them didn't. I led the UX strategy and design for an AI-powered tool that changes that.
